I love that this day is just a normal day for everyone else. The 16th of August, 2011 is a generic Tuesday, lived out working or being at school. But for me, not this time.
This time is something different, that I have been dreaming of for so so long. Now, it's happening and I don't believe that it is. Each time I breathe I hold my breath for a little longer, as if to catch some kind of reality in the air. I wonder if I'll ever really believe it.
I'm in the car right now, driving out of Melbourne with the laptop resting on my legs.
I look to my left and I can see the sign saying the Great Ocean Road. The sun is peaking through white wispy clouds, pretty much just there to tease me. But I'll catch the sunshine soon.
Mum and I stopped at a small fruit market next to a petrol station just outside of Melbourne, and bought mangoes. This is already very exciting, and I'm imagining the kind of mangoes I'll be eating in Perth soon.
I'm listening to Snow Patrol's 'You could be happy' as well as 'Let go' by Frou-Frou. I wonder if I can upload a video of the song from Youtube?
I'm feeling pretty mellow right now. I don't really know what to expect from this trip but I think that's a good way to be.
I'm wearing the daggiest clothes, a hoodie and grey trackies that have elastic on the bottom. But I'm very comfortable.
Hopefully I can blog almost every day.
Well I'm guessing I should be paying attention to the Great Oean Road now. I'll blog later on, tonight or tomorrow.
Bye :)
