You're right. Life isn't fair. It's not fair at all.
Probably one of the most unfair things ever to occur.
How unfortunate, that after the creator of the universe let His own child go from paradise and perfection to human form, to grow up so He could be tested and tortured, whipped and beaten, spat upon and nailed to a cross, covered entirely with every last one of our own sins so that we could be brought to eternal life in paradise and perfection, we still choose to go against all He has given us and slander His name.
How unfair indeed, for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that we wouldn't even stop to think about everything He has done just to give us the ability to accept or decline.
The beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair.
So why, on this earth, are we the ones complaining?
So why, on this earth, are we the ones complaining?
Our lives are miracles. We have no short straws.
We have the utmost advantage, where all that is required for us to have eternal life is to open our eyes to our Saviour, and say yes to Him.
If life was fair, if we really were to receive our dues, there would be no hope in all creation for us to cling onto.
