Jinsei Wa Utsukushii.

I realised about 7 seconds ago that i have written about the need to stay positive lots, but i haven't really written that much that HAS been positive. So i think i'll start now, with the simple things in life i like to remember.

What I Love About This Life:
-The beauty in everything around me. The colours, the images, the lights, the tones. I am so grateful to have eyes that allow me to see such wondrous sights.
-Music. It's amazing that sounds can match each other so perfectly, and produce a harmonious noise that can alter our moods, appeal to us, and express amazing feelings. I'm very grateful to have ears as well.
-Animals. To think of all the variety of species of animals there are, from mammals to reptiles, insects to amphibians. There's so much more intelligence than just humans.
-Touch. I love the different feel of things we run our hands upon, the gestures we make through contact, the connection we can create just by a handshake. I love all the textures, smooth, rough, furry, silky.
-Smells. The good smells, obviously. I LOVE perfume. I love the fruity, balmy, tropical smell of summer. I love the smell of a bakery. I love the smell of spaghetti cooking. I love the smell of melted milk chocolate. I love fruity, fresh smells.
-Tastes. When it comes to the food my tastebuds agree with, it's such a delicious sensation to go through. I love it when the first bight of chocolate hits your toungue and instantly melts in your mouth, filling it with a sweet taste that we all love. I love fruity tastes, i especially love fruit smoothies. I love my mum's lasagne, my dad's spaghetti bolognaise, both my mum and dad's stir fry, and pasta or rice or pastry of any kind.

I think that's covered the basics... That's pretty much just the five senses.
So almost everything on this earth that i love comes under one of those five categories.
I also love emotions.
I LOVE the feeling of joy. Well, everybody does obviously.
I LOVE laughing, being entertained, finding something funny.
I LOVE remembering good times, re-living past experiences you wish had never ended.
I LOVE loving things. haha.

I Love the diversity of seasons too.
I think i love Summer the most, though. I can't ever get enough of the hot sunny days, bright blue skies and oceans, yellow sandy beaches, ice cold drinks, shorts and singlets, sunnies and sandles, Feel-good music and relaxation, icecream and swimming pools.
Autumn is such a beautiful sight. I love the reds and oranges of the leaves falling from the trees. I love the slightly cloudy skies that hold a light blue memory of what was once summer. I love the weather, how it's not a sweaty hot nor a frozen stiff day.
Winter is so cozy. I love the warmth of sitting by the heater, or snuggled up in 3 covers, i love being wrapped up in warm clothes and the feeling of the cold breeze on my nose, although most people don't like that breeze. I love curling up in a throw rug on my favourite recliner, sipping on herbal tea, watching chick flicks and cuddling my kitten. I love the snow, and skiing, although i have only been once for both.
Spring is the most beautiful. It's such a relief from the cold. I love the fragrance always wafting through the air. I love the bright blooming colours of flowers and freshly mowed green grass. I love the birds chirping and the feeling of the year ending. I love the morning sunshine that warms my face and feet instantly.

WOW - this is a long post :)
But already i feel so much better just thinking about things positively. Ofcourse you can see summer as stinky, sweaty and exasperating, autumn as dull and stressful as we begin getting serious at school, winter as cold and lonely and filled with fights, spring as an allergy-nightmare filled with hayfever and constant sneezing.
BUT do you REALLY want to think of the seasons like that?

I'm going to sleepy-byes now, i realise it's quite past my bedtime. But i know i'll get a very good night's sleep now :)
