Hurry Up & Change The World Already.

My thought for the day is this:

We are all so afraid of ourselves.

Yup :)

All the insecurities we have is selfishness.

Yup again :)

To be selfish is to be conscious of self.
We don't want to ask questions because we think people will see us as stupid.
We don't want to answer questions because we could be wrong and people could again, see us as stupid.
We don't speak up for ourselves or for each other because we're afraid of what others will think.

My thoughts on this? WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS THINK!
bajeebies.
We're all humans, we all have talents and we all have faults.
Our strengths and our weaknesses will vary.
And if you're bad at maths, who cares? you're amazing at cooking.
Or even if you can't read, you could be the next picasso.
There are people who are limbless, who are deaf, blind, and terminal.
And then there are people starving to death, living in poverty. There are people who were abducted as children and taken as sex slaves for half their life.
The ironic part is that these people love life more than others who have it good.

People become suicidal over someone elses' judgements, and at the same time people who are suffering ten times more are happier?

There are two morals to this;
1- words are VERY hurtful and can destroy peoples' lives.
2- we take our lives for granted way too much.
or.. maybe a 3rd?
3- we need to not let people hold us back from our dreams.

I believe God has gifted each of us with our own talents, and we have a future that can change the world if we believe we can.

I'm pretty sure i've said all these things in previous posts... But yeah. Oh well. It's still just as important now as it was before!

I just wish we could all grasp the fact that we are all amazing people, we all have something in us put there especially for this world. So don't hold back, don't ever doubt yourself. Believe in the power you have to change the world.
PLANET EARTH WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU.

The Only Exception

"When I was younger
I saw my daddy cry
And curse at the wind
He broke his own heart
And I watched
As he tried to reassemble it

And my momma swore that
She would never let herself forget
And that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love
If it does not exist

But darling,
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception

Maybe I know, somewhere
Deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we've got to find other ways
To make it alone
Keep a straight face

And I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable, distance
And up until now
I had sworn to myself that I'm
Content with loneliness

Because none of it was ever worth the risk

Well, You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception"

Destined for Sydney in just two days.
*squeeeeeeeeeeee!*

the image above is a birds-eye view of what it's like on an ordinary day at Jam United.
well no, that's a lie. Jam United is never ordinary.
Just multiply how many people you see in this photo by about ten, and you get the size of just the floor. (the floor is about an oval size, that's the mosh-pit.)
Then there are stands surrounding it with thousands of people in the seats too.
Last year i learnt to NEVER be at the front center of the mosh-pit. Only giant Maori people can survive there. I tend to stick to the right of those guys, where i'm still at the front. And it's amazing, i can't wait! ^.^

You're still the only one.

Where do we start
When the lights go out
When the passion flows
Where do we start?

Whats left to say
When our tongues are tied
When the words that lied
Still linger on

When your defenses come down
Then I see

you still shine like the sun
Brighter than anyone
Yeah you shine like the sun
You're still the only one
