And in just a few days time, I'll be embarking on a new adventure.
But right now, as hard as it may be, I must focus on 3 things:
1 - Alice in Wonderland. It was the opening night last night. And although the play is such a kid's play, the adult audience seemed to love it :) The only unproductive audience members were the teenagers, thinking they were 'too cool' for it all. But that's a bit normal for teenagers these days. Tonight is the second performance, and then tomorrow is the Sunday matinee.
2 - My studio art class artwork. Due in on Monday. Not that I'm going to be attending school then, just dropping it in, hopefully completed. Otherwise I fail. Not good for a year 12 subject.
3 - My friends. Sunday night after the matinee performance, I'm having friends come over for dinner. Pizza :)
I feel like it's essential that I get to spend time with these people before I leave for a very very long time. I'm going to miss them so so much.
Then, once all that is done and dusted, I'll be packing, then leaving!
I'll be sure to blog about my adventures as much as possible.
But right now, I must eat my breakfast - at midday. ;)
First time I've been able to sleep in for about a month. Have a good day, Blog.

"All you do is close your eyes, and you're in Wonderland."
I find it amusing and coincidental - maybe even some kind of fate - that I am playing the role of Alice, going through Wonderland.
It describes all that I am going through. Definitely must have been typecasted.
The only difference, aside from the ridiculously puffy sleeves, is the use of the word 'Wonderland'. My confusion is not so wonderful, though it is definitely 'wonder'some. Hmm.
The jail doors were wide open. This was their chance for freedom. But none of the prisoners tried to escape. Because there was something else, another freedom. A different freedom. The freedom in the hearts of those worshipping God - in the middle of their cell, in the middle of the night.
I feel like a prisoner who can hear the voices raised in worship from the people beside me. And while everyone is mesmerised by the freedom in the worshipping hearts, I'm confused. I feel like a traitor. Is it supposed to be this hard, to determine which is the right freedom?
Help me, God.

Show me Your glory.
I long to look on the face of the one that I love, long to stay in Your presence, it's where I belong.
